The short of it:  I’m a mother, wife, pharmacist by trade, and an intuitive.

So are you wondering how a third generation pharmacist and midwest girl finds herself an intuitive?  Well, I wondered for awhile, as well.

As a young child, I always knew things without questioning how I knew.  I was something that people didn’t talk about.  Maybe, I knew better than to ask.  And Mom always seemed to be saying, “Ask Amy, she’ll know what’s going on.”

And then … I shut it all down.  Probably a survival mechanism.

It wasn’t until I was out on my own many years later that I rediscovered my gifts.  Not knowing how to use them or share them, my gifts stayed in the background of all that I did.

Today, I’m no longer willing to hide, and I embrace my intuition and am ready to share it with you.

I currently live in the midwest with my husband, our 2 daughters and our dog.

    Thank you for following my blog :) I’m looking forward to following yours, it’s great to find kindred spirits, and like you, I also ‘shut the door’ for many years, since I was a teenager. It suddenly opened wide at the age of 33, and I’ve never looked back. :) Your daughters are lucky to have you for their mum….I’m sure they chose you before they came into this life! :)

We do many things as children to hide our true selves, always as survival mechanisms, and many of us never recover these lost parts of ourselves later in life.
