I was told that I was going to get braces. I imagined retainers in my mouth. My husband had rows of metal throughout his mouth. He states that he is disappointed and that the orthodontist didn’t do a good job with the installation The brace were loose and moved all around.
When I was my turn to get the braces, I sat in the chair. The orthodontist didn’t place the metal in my mouth, but rather forced the metal into my fore arm. The metal reminded me of super floss that has the fuzzy stuff in the middle. The orthodontist really tore up my arm yet there was no pain. Most of the muscle on my arm was exposed. It was weird to look at. I didn’t get any braces.
First thoughts are that braces and retainers mean support. Brace yourself or don’t be so critical of others. Retainers a symbol of being held back.
Dreammoods.com says:
Retainer: To wear a retainer in your dream suggests that are holding your emotions back and not expressing yourself. As a result, you are feeling stifled.
Floss
To floss in your dream suggests that you are trying to get to the root of some matter.
Muscle
To see muscles in your dream symbolize power, strength, and flexibility. You need to develop these qualities within yourself in order to become a more stronger and confident person.
Husband
To see your husband in your dream signifies the waking relationship with your husband and the subconscious feelings you have towards him. The dream may be trying to focus on hidden elements that you are not addressing in your waking life.

So odd! I had a dream last night that one of my favorite singers, Mark Foster, of Foster the People, was wearing braces and a retainer. He was in a comedy show, kind of like the ones the Monkees used to have. I find it pretty cool that you are a Pisces and I am a Pisces Rising (people’s first see as a Pisces) and the moon is in Pisces, which rules dreams/visions!
and we both had dreams about braces and retainers. hummmm…very interesting.
Pretty cool! I dig it
Thank you for sharing. I didnt know you were a pisces. Hee hee. Im a pisces rising as well. Yes…I am definitely a dreamer. Been exploring dream walkers. Still researching. Its nice to see other people writing their dreams and sharing them. My circle of friends rarely share dreams. They say they cant remember them. Have a HAPPY THURSDAY!
Thank you, Grace. Good to hear from you!
